While modern recording techniques have come a long way in delivering clarity, it comes at a cost, and that cost is often the very essence of what makes a band unique. Our goal is to resurrect the lost art of carefully capturing the energy that only comes from real musicians, doing what they love; creating a sonic imprint that will last forever.

    Recording sessions with Paper Sleeve are designed to feel focused, unhurried, and exploratory in nature. We take the time to understand your sound and get it right at the source, using our small but robust selection of high quality microphones, analog hardware, and digital effects processors to serve your sound.

    Much like our studio recording service, on site recording is ideal for independent artists who want to create artistically accurate music without being restricted by the studio clock.

    Each on site recording session includes:

    • Initial consultation to discuss your sound and artistic vision

    • Creative support during tracking (takes, pacing, performance guidance)

    • Basic editing and audio cleanup after the session

    • Delivery of mix ready high-resolution audio files (WAV or AIFF)

    • Discounts available for larger projects

    Cost 50$ per instrument, per song + $150 travel fee (limited to 20 miles from the studio).

    Paper Sleeve clients can add mixing to their session for a seamless finish, while remote artists can send in their audio for standalone mixing with the same attention to detail. You’ll receive a high-quality stereo mix (WAV or AIFF & MP3), up to two revisions, and options like instrumental or performance mixes if needed.

    Each Mixing Package includes:

    • Initial consultation to discuss your vision

    • Mix of up to 24 tracks per song

    • Up to three rounds of revisions

    • Feedback and consultation on track prep and song arrangement

    • Additional tracks available

    • Deliverables include stereo mix in high quality WAV/AIFF/MP3 format, as well as multi-track stems.
